On January 22, Assistant Dean Lei Ting and his delegation visited the National University of Singapore(NUS). They held substantive discussions on scientific research cooperation and student exchange visits with Professor Wu Jie, Head of the Graduate Program of the Department of Chemistry, Provost’sChair Professor Chen Wei, Professor Gong Jiangbin, Dean of the Department of Physics, and Professor Wang Qinghai, Deputy Dean of the Departmentof Physics.Theyagreed to engage in in-depth cooperation in scientific research and education in the future.

In 2014, the National Research Foundation (NRF) of Singapore awarded the NUSa grant of 50 million Singapore dollars. This grant supports the operating costs of the CA2DM laboratory, micro-nano processing facilities, and the exploration, synthesis, and development of new equipment based on two-dimensional materials, most notably graphene, over the next 10 years. As a result, the Centre for Advanced 2D Materials was established.

On January 23, Assistant Dean Lei Ting and his delegation visited the School of Materials Science and Engineering,Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. They met with Professor Ng Kee Woei(Vice Dean), Professor Hng Huey Hoon(Vice Dean), Professor Li Shuzhou(Assistant Dean), and Professor Liu Zheng.
